I amalso very proud of the fact that I have a daughter, Molly Chaney Radtke, whograduated from here in 1988. I can honestly say that for both of us the friends wemade here are still the best friends that we have in our lives. I lived in Minnesotafor many years, and moved to Nevada, Missouri, in 2002 because I love thiscommunity and have many of my Cottey friends living in the area. I had notintended to work at Cottey, but because of my love for the school and my longstandingrelationship with the P.E.O. Sisterhood, when the opportunity presenteditself I jumped at the chance. I am a Past State P.E.O. President from Minnesota, and have been a member of the Sisterhood for over 51 years. The values of thesisterhood and of the college coexist in perfect harmony, and it is inspirational tobe working with the wonderful young women who attend Cottey as well as thewonderful P.E.O.s from around the country and Canada who support the collegeand its students. I look forward to welcoming all of you to campus. A visit willconvince you that what happens here is not just special, but also life-changing.Seeing is Believing!Angela PhillipsAssistant Director of AdmissionStates:Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Michigan,Indiana, and FloridaContact:aphillips@cottey.edu | 417.448.1442My name is Angela Phillips and I’m from St. Cloud, Minnesota. Iam working on my fourth year in admission at Cottey College. Iam a fourth generation P.E.O., so naturally my mother wanted meto visit Cottey as soon as I was 16 years old. I immediately fell inlove with the college and enrolled as a freshman in 2004. Aftergraduating at Cottey College I moved back to MN and obtainedmy bachelor’s degree in anthropology at St. Cloud StateUniversity. Soon afterwards I moved back to Nevada to workas an admission representative and begin working on mymaster’s degree in education. My favorite part of working inadmission is getting to know my prospective students, theirfamilies, and their supportive P.E.O.s!
