TITLEThese rules are to be read in conjunction with, and are in addition to, the General Rulesfor the <strong>National</strong> <strong>Lottery</strong>.1. These Rules may be referred to as Issue 6 of the EuroMillions Game Rules.2. These Rules will apply to all tickets purchased for the draw to be held on 17 thFebruary 2012 and subsequent draws. Tickets purchased for draws up to andincluding the draw to be held on 14 th February 2012 will conform to Issue 5 March2011 of the EuroMillions Game Rules.2. DEFINITIONSIn these Rules unless the context requires otherwise:“Act” means the <strong>National</strong> <strong>Lottery</strong> Act 1986.“Advance Play” means a facility to play EuroMillions for 2, 4, 6 or 8 draws in advancewith the purchase of one ticket.“Booster Fund” means the fund described in Section 7.6.“Cancelled Draw” means any draw which does not take place; orany draw in which the Playing Public cannot take part by reason of the expiry,suspension or revocation of either the Company’s licence; orany draw which takes place but in respect of which the participation of the Playing Publicis suspended under Section 10.“Central Computer System” means the computer system used to operate On-LineGames.“Common Prize Fund” means the prize fund for each Draw, as more particularlyreferred to in Section 7.5 a).“Company” means An Post <strong>National</strong> <strong>Lottery</strong> Company.“Contractors” means The <strong>National</strong> <strong>Lottery</strong>'s On-Line Games Facilities Managementcontractor and its subcontractors.“Co-Promoter” means a body or organisation established in a territory outside theTerritory which is licensed, authorised or otherwise permitted by the relevant authorityto operate and promote a lottery forming part of the EuroMillions Game in a territoryoutside the Territory but within the European Economic Area.“Draw” means the process which culminates in the selection on a random basis and inaccordance with Draw Procedures of a set of Winning Numbers for all lotteries whichform the EuroMillions Game.“Draw Procedures” means the draw procedures to which any Draw shall be subject asdetermined by SLE from time to time.“EuroMillions Game” means the EuroMillions Game as referred to in Section 3.“Exchange Ticket” means the ticket issued by the terminal when a winning AdvancePlay Ticket is presented for payment (provided that the ticket presented is still valid forfuture draws) and will show the remaining number of draw(s) and range of draw datesfor which the ticket remains valid.EuroMillions Rules Page 5 of 20Issue 6 January, 2012
