The adjustments <strong>to</strong> be madein GPL <strong>Stage</strong> 3 are indicated in the new Appendix D: <strong>Allocation</strong> Adjustments <strong>to</strong> bemade in GPL <strong>Stage</strong> 3.The GPL <strong>Stage</strong> 2 allocation available <strong>to</strong> boards for 2006-07 is detailed in the lastcolumn (“Final <strong>Stage</strong> 2 <strong>Allocation</strong>”) of Appendix B.Eligible GPL <strong>Stage</strong> 2 ProjectsSchool boards must apply the GPL <strong>Stage</strong> 2 funding <strong>to</strong> facilities which are expected <strong>to</strong> beopen and operating for the next ten years. Further, this allocation must be applied <strong>to</strong>those projects which are considered <strong>to</strong> be capital in nature that meets the criteria in thedocument School Board and School Authority Tangible Capital Assets – AccountingPolicies available at the Ministry’s tpfr site at:http://tpfr.edu.gov.on.ca/Reporting%20Entity/March%2006%207-month%20reporting/Mini-guide%20March%2006%20FINAL_revised_E.pdfProjects that were tendered by boards after January 1, 2006, that meet the <strong>Stage</strong> 2eligibility criteria noted above, can be recognized as part of the board’s completed or inprogress<strong>Stage</strong> 2 renewal activity.In addition, boards may use any of their unspent <strong>Stage</strong> 1 GPL allocations on the rangeof work identified as being eligible under <strong>Stage</strong> 2.Update Renewal Need Priority in ReCAPPBoards will have the flexibility <strong>to</strong> identify changes in renewal need priority.
