The diagnostic characters in adults are: 3 enlargedpreanal scales, dorsal part of the body covered with keeled scales, and a yellowishventral side. Juveniles are distinguished by their whitish ventral side. We report here onthe courtship behavior of this species, that was observed in late December, 2007 in astream of Borwen Sub-district, Chanthaburi province, Thailand, and on other biologicalobservations.จิ้งเหลนหวยเขมร (Tropidophorus microlepis Gunther, 1861) เปนจิ้งเหลนในกลุมจิ้งเหลนน้ำ หรือจิ้งเหลนหวย จัดอยูในวงศจิ้งเหลน (Family Scincidae) ในประเทศไทยมีรายงานการสำรวจพบที่บริเวณทิวเขาสระบาปและทิวเขาสอยดาว จ. จันทบุรี สถานีวิจัยวนเกษตรตราดจ. ตราด และอุทยานแหงชาติปางสีดา จ. สระแกว (Nabhitabhata et al., 2000; พิทักษ และคณะ, 2549)จิ้งเหลนหวยเขมร ภาพโดยพงศกร โกฉัยพัฒนT. microlepis photo taken froma creek, Klung, Chanthaburiprovince.
