I – SPECIAL CONDITIONSARTICLE I.1 - SUBJECTI.1.1. The subject of the Contract is the completion of Analyses and Proposals on GalileoSignals.I.1.2. To this aim, the Contractor shall investigate further improvements for the Galileosignals and provide recommendation for optimization. He will execute the tasksassigned to him in accordance with the Tender Specifications annexed to theContract (Annexes I & II).I.1.2. The Contractor, on the terms set out in the Contract and its Annexes, which forman integral part thereof, undertakes to perform the following tasks:- Task 1: Management- Task 2: Galileo Spreading Codes Analysis- Task 3: Galileo Navigation Message Analysis- Task 4: Next Generation Galileo Signals Analyses- Task 5: Galileo Commercial Service Signal AnalysesARTICLE I.2 - DURATIONI.2.1. The Contract shall enter into force on the date on which it is signed by the lastcontracting party.I.2.2. Execution of the tasks may under no circumstances begin before the date onwhich the Contract enters into force.I.2.3. The duration of the tasks shall not exceed 18 months. This period and all otherperiods specified in the Contract are calculated in calendar days. Execution of thetasks shall start from the day of the Kick-off meeting (T0) unless otherwiseagreed in writing. The period of execution of the tasks may be extended only withthe express written agreement of the parties before such period elapses.ARTICLE I.3 – CONTRACT PRICEThe maximum total amount to be paid by GSA under the Contract shall be EUR [amountin figures and in words] covering all tasks executed.ARTICLE I.4 – PAYMENT PERIODS AND FORMALITIESPayments under the Contract shall be made in accordance with Article II.4. Paymentsshall be executed only if the Contractor has fulfilled all his contractual obligations by thedate on which the invoice is submitted. Payment requests may not be made if paymentsfor previous periods have not been executed as a result of default or negligence on thepart of the Contractor.I.4.1.
