Cognac, Calvados,Armagnac and GrappaCognac, named after the town ofCognac in France,is a brandy, which is produced inthe region surrounding the town.It must be made from at least 90percent Ugni Blanc, FolleBlanche, or Colombard grapes.The rest of the cognac can consistof ten selected grapes. However,most cognac is made from UgniBlanc only.
