The unit is powered from, and communicatesthrough the Radar <strong>Tank</strong> Gauge to which it isconnected. The Slave DAU is intrinsically safeusing zener barriers on the Transmitter InterfaceCard (TIC) in the Radar <strong>Tank</strong> Gauge.The weatherproof box houses a printed circuitboard with a cable terminal for connection of thetemperature sensors, as well as the power andcommunication cable.
