A cerem<strong>on</strong>y was held in Tripoli <strong>on</strong> Tuesday to mark the launch of ferry services. A Turkish-flagged passenger boat hasdocked at the port of Tripoli for the first time after 100 years, Turkish Ambassador to Leban<strong>on</strong> told the cerem<strong>on</strong>y. Leban<strong>on</strong> has beenthe sec<strong>on</strong>d country in East Mediterranean, after Syria, that launched ferry services with TRNC’s Gazimagusa, Ambassador SerdarKilic said. The ferryboat departed from Gazimagusa <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> sailed to Syria’s Latakia. The guest country’s main message is “Egypt has it all!”, which meansthat in Egypt <strong>on</strong>ce can find any type of tourism such as therapeutic tourism, desert tourism, cultural tourism, adventure tourism, leisuretourism, sport tourism, golf tourism, shopping <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> diving, <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> the country sees the fair as an important step in promoting Egypt as atourist destinati<strong>on</strong>. The Egyptian Minister of Tourism <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> the Chairman of the Egyptian Tourist Authority are planning to attend thefair. Egypt will organize a press c<strong>on</strong>ference <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> an Egyptian night with special Egyptian cuisine <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> folklore dancing. There will besome presents for the visitors of Egyptian booth where Egyptian drinks like Karkadee <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> Tamr Hendy will be offered <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> famousTanora dancing can be enjoyed. Nehad Gamal Eldin, the representative of Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, states that their sp<strong>on</strong>sorshipis significant in terms of tourism strategies for 2016 <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> adds, “We have always taken part in EMITT Fair every year since it hasstarted. The outcomes we attained here geared towards the decisi<strong>on</strong> to sp<strong>on</strong>sor the fair as the ‘guest country’ <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> we signed anagreement with Ekin Fair Organizati<strong>on</strong> who organized this fair as a part of the Ekin Group. We will participate in the fair with theministry representatives <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> 15 tourism agencies from Egypt.
