The name “Cesme”meaning fountain, refers tothe many springs found in the area duringthe 18th <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> 19th centuries. Çeşme isa town <strong>on</strong> the west coast of Turkey <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g><strong>on</strong>e of the districts of İzmir Province.
