PM600 ManualTo allow the analogue inputs to be used as conditional inputs the commands ‘Wait for analogue input greaterthan’ (AG) and ‘Wait for analogue input less than’ (AL) are available. The commands have the syntax AGn/xxx and AGn/xxx where is the axis address, n is theinput selected and xxx is the input value that causes the condition to become true. The response is either OK if the condition has been accepted and come true or if the analogue inputselected is not in the range 1 to 5 the error message ! NOT VALID ADC CHANNEL will be received.Examples:1AG2/1000 Wait until Analogue Input 2 is greater than 5V1AG3/2047 Wait until Joystick 1 Input is greater than 2.5V1AL2/-500 Wait until Analogue Input 2 is less than 2.5V1AL3/2047 Wait until Joystick 1 Input is less than 2.5V2.18.4 Analogue OutputsThere are two analogue inputs. Analogue output 1 is used by the PM600 in servo mode to drive a servoamplifier, although it can be used as general purpose output in stepper control modes. Both analogueoutputs are bipolar and are converted from digital values by a 12 bit digital to analogue converter (DAC).Output Use Type Voltage Values Scaling1 Servo/General purpose Bipolar -10V to +10V –2047 to +2047 ~5mV per unit2 General purpose Bipolar -10V to +10V –2047 to +2047 ~5mV per unitThe command has the syntax AOn/xxx where is the axis address, n is the output selected andxxx is the output value. The response is either OK if the command has been accepted or if the analogue output selected is not 1 or 2the error message ! NOT VALID DAC CHANNEL will be received.Examples:1AO1/1024 Set the Analogue output 1 to +5V1AO2/-2047 Set the Analogue output 2 to -10V2712 Issue D page 2-26
