The York County School Division will maintain efficient, effective,service-oriented operations that support student achievement.Belief StatementsWe believe…• Student achievement is the core priority of the school division.• Student achievement is more than performance on standardizedtests.• Division employees must be dedicated to positive learningoutcomes for all students.• Parental and community involvement are essential.• Exceptional school divisions recruit and retain highly qualified anddiverse staff.• Multiple educational programs help prepare students for careerchoices.• Mutual respect is essential in all interactions.• Technology enhances student learning.• Data should be used to inform and adjust instruction.• Student wellness supports student achievement.Bailey FieldAdvertisingPromotes LocalBusinessesThe York Foundation for Public Education,Inc. entered into an agreement with theYork County School Division to enable localbusinesses to advertise at Bailey Field.This worthwhile program provides YorkCounty business owners an opportunityto promote their businesses while supportingthe school division.York County businesses are encouragedto join other local businesses in a tastefuladvertising campaign at a reasonableannual fee.2010 - 2011advertisers included:Bay Electric Co., Inc.Bojangles’ RestaurantsEnergy Efficient Heatingand CoolingJust PlumbingMedical ExpressRiverwalk RestaurantState Farm InsuranceTowneBankWalmart Distribution CenterWendy’s Restaurantsof Grafton and YorktownBailey Field is the home field for three ofthe York County high schools (Grafton,York and Tabb). Families and supportersthroughout York County frequentlyattend events held at Bailey Field.
