[iii] White, cream or coloured trousers may be worn.<br />

[iv] Coloured pads or coloured pad covers must be worn.<br />

[v] A Club must apply for approval of their coloured shirt by providing a written request together with a colour<br />

design or sample to the Grade Secretary prior to a date that will be determined and advised by the Grade<br />

Committee.<br />

All other competitions:<br />

Teams participating in scheduled One Day and Twenty20 matches may wear coloured shirts and trousers with<br />

panels in the respective Club colours provided that they comply with the following guidelines and that the<br />

colour and design of the shirts have been approved by <strong>Queensland</strong> <strong>Cricket</strong> prior to the start of the season.<br />

[i] It is not compulsory to use coloured playing shirts in either of these matches in any grade.<br />

[ii] A Club may use the same coloured shirts or trouser panels in One Day and Twenty20 matches or, at its<br />

discretion, a Club may use a different shirt for One Day and Twenty20 matches.<br />

[iii]Shirts should be designed in the manner that stays within the current logo regulations [j] and are kept within<br />

reasonable colour boundaries that are suitable to be used with a red ball. Clubs can design the playing shirt/s<br />

within these boundaries but the Grade Committee has final decision on shirt approval.<br />

[iv] Piping and stripes only, approximately 50mm wide, are permitted on pants.<br />

[v] A Club must apply for approval of their coloured shirts and/or trouser panels by providing a written request<br />

together with a colour design or sample to the Grade Secretary prior to a date that will be determined and<br />

advised by the Grade Committee.<br />

[c] Women: The Katherine Raymont Shield players to wear long white pants.<br />

The Second Grade Shield players to wear long white culottes, pants or shorts.<br />

Application can be made for shirts to be approved as above.<br />

[d] Socks worn shall be white or cream or, should more than one pair of socks be worn, socks showing shall be<br />

white or cream.<br />

[e] Boots or shoes of any material coloured predominantly white. Spikes shall not project from the soles of boots or<br />

shoes to a length greater than 9mm.<br />

[f] In First Grade and The Alan Pettigrew Shield Competition matches NO player will be allowed on the field<br />

unless wearing spiked footwear [half spiked footwear is permissible]. The Grade Secretary may approve a<br />

relaxation of this clause on written medical grounds.<br />

[g] Caps: It shall not be obligatory on any player to wear a cap, but if a player elects to do so, the cap worn shall be<br />

that of the Club for which they are playing. A white or cream hat may be worn in lieu of a cap. Coloured hats<br />

are permitted, but only if in Club colours and with the Club emblem attached.<br />

[h] A sweater may be worn in addition to the shirt provided that it is of white or cream colour.<br />

[i] T-Shirts and Undergarments (worn under playing shirts) unless white or skin colour, shall not protrude beyond<br />

the playing shirt. Black T-Shirts and Undergarments only are permitted in scheduled First Grade One Day and<br />

Twenty20 matches.<br />

Note: Except for the wearing of spikes in the First Grade and Alan Pettigrew Shield, the question of player’s attire<br />

should be referred to the team captain and Club officials.<br />

[j] Permitted Logos on Grade <strong>Cricket</strong> Playing Uniform:<br />

1. Club Logo.<br />

2. Manufacturers Logo.<br />

3. Commercial Logos: Competition Sponsor.<br />

Club Sponsor Logo.<br />

The permitted size and location of these logos on playing apparel is as follows.<br />

Shirts:<br />

Club Logo Max of 64cm 2 on left chest.<br />

Manufacturers Logo Max of 40cm 2 on right chest or collar.<br />

Club Sponsor Logo Max of 30cm (wide) x 20cm (high) on front of shirt, Max of 64cm 2 on either<br />

or both sleeves.<br />

The design of logos on shirts is subject to Grade Committee approval.<br />

21. UMPIRES ALLOCATION<br />

[a] Umpires for all matches, under the control of the Grade Committee, shall be appointed by the <strong>Queensland</strong><br />

<strong>Cricket</strong> Umpire Selection Committee provided that failure to make such appointment shall not invalidate a<br />
