From the File menu, select Export As. The Export As dialogopens.3. Select <strong>Maple</strong>t as a file type.4. Specify a path and folder for the file.5. Enter a filename.6. Click Export.The <strong>Maple</strong>t application can be displayed by using the <strong>Maple</strong>tViewer.<strong>Maple</strong> Text<strong>Maple</strong> text is specially marked text that retains the worksheet’s distinctionbetween text, <strong>Maple</strong> input, and <strong>Maple</strong> output. Thus, you can exporta worksheet as <strong>Maple</strong> text, send the text file by email, and the recipientcan import the <strong>Maple</strong> text into a <strong>Maple</strong> session and regenerate most ofthe structure of your original worksheet.Translation of <strong>Maple</strong> Worksheets to <strong>Maple</strong> Text When a <strong>Maple</strong> worksheetis translated into a <strong>Maple</strong> text file, the following describes whathappens to various worksheet elements.• <strong>Maple</strong> Input is preceded by a greater-than sign and a space (> ).• Text is preceded by a pound sign and a space (# ).• Page break objects inserted manually in <strong>Maple</strong> are not supportedwhen exported as <strong>Maple</strong> Text.• Hidden content is not exported.• Graphics are not exported.• Special symbols (and all output) are displayed in character-basedtypesetting.
