Art is all around us. <strong>In</strong> shapes,<br />
forms, textures, colors etc.But to<br />
observe it and capture its complete<br />
beauty is the greatest challenge.<br />
<strong>Siemens</strong> Home Appliances is known<br />
for the beauty <strong>of</strong> its products<br />
especially <strong>of</strong> the sleek Porsche<br />
Range. At Islamabad <strong>Family</strong> <strong>Day</strong> a<br />
sketching competition was held in<br />
which children were encouraged to<br />
sketch in order to capture the<br />
artistic beauty <strong>of</strong> <strong>Siemens</strong> Porsche<br />
range.<br />
Two separate stalls were set up in<br />
the lush green lawns <strong>of</strong> the Farm<br />
House. The kids were divided into<br />
two groups A & B one for kids from<br />
5 to 8 years and the other for kids<br />
from 9 to 12 years. The participants<br />

flower competition for ladies at Islamabad<br />
<strong>Family</strong> <strong>Day</strong>. Mrs. Parvez Iftikhar, Mrs.<br />
Asadullah and Ms. Sowaba were among<br />
the jury. Ladies enthusiastically<br />
participated and created beautiful<br />
were given 10 minutes time<br />
to sketch one <strong>of</strong> the<br />
<strong>Siemens</strong> household<br />
appliances and at the end<br />
<strong>of</strong> the competition<br />

As children’s perspectives<br />
are always the most<br />
heartfelt and the most<br />
expressive, it was<br />
encouraging for us to see<br />
that they could relate to<br />
<strong>Siemens</strong> as not just a<br />
company but rather as an<br />
artistically intriguing entity.<br />

It proved to be a very involving competition<br />
and matched the colorful setting <strong>of</strong> the<br />
spring.
