When studying theministry of the LordJesus Christ, a lotof folks misunderstandsome of the principles of faith thatwould help them receive from God. Theyerroneously believe that Jesus healedeverybody He came in contact with toprove His Deity. However, Scripturedoes not teach that Jesus always healedeverybody everywhere He went.On certain occasions, the Bibledoes record that when the multitudesfollowed Jesus, He healed them all(Matt. 12:15; Luke 6:19). But Scripturealso lists times when only a few peoplewere healed. For instance, in Jesus’hometown of Naz<strong>are</strong>th, the Word says,“He could there do no mighty work, savethat he laid his hands upon a few sick folk,and healed them” (Mark 6:5).Only One HealedThe Book of Mark tells the story ofhow one woman in the midst of a multitudegot healed. This woman sufferedwith an issue of blood for many years.When she heard of Jesus, she made herway through the people and touchedthe hem of His garment. And when shetouched Jesus, she was made whole(Mark 5:25–29).Jesus immediately stopped andasked His disciples, “. . . Who touched myclothes?” (v. 30).His disciples replied, “. . . Thou seestthe multitude thronging thee, and sayestthou, Who touched me?” (v. 31).Jesus was surrounded by a largecrowd of people, and many were tryingto touch Him.
