A mere five teams gatheredfor an completely unlimited, no handicap showdownon the boards.Unfortunately, the gathering audience was bigger thanthe field of competitors for this one. But that didn’t deterTeresa, who found a way to spread out the tournament playover several hours, and maintain high player morale. Fiveteams competed in a best-of-seven round robin, and eachteam’s wins were accumulated to determine a winner. Each team paid their entry fees, plus a $25 sponsorshipfee if they hoped to takethe cup to their sponsoringbar upon winningthe tournament. The only sponsoredteam in the bunch wasJohn Husman and DavidFoster, who wereplaying for Cloud 9.A f t e r s e v e r a lhours of dart relatedand non-dart relatedantics, Kevin and JeffJr. took 3rd place and$40.00.
