4.9.3 Socials information update The daily update of the social profiles information, necessary in order toreconstruct the social history of the users, is done automatically through theutilization of “Quartz”, an open source job-scheduling framework, based entirelyon Java [23].The scheduler, is initialized during the server start up by the “QuartzInit” servlet,that create a job called “UpdateSocialDBJob” and set-up the hour for the dailytrigger.Figure 31, shows the sequence of operations done by the class“SocialDBUpdateJob” in order to update the socials information.Figure 31 - Sequences of steps performed by the class SocialDbUpdareJob in order to collect the newsocials information.78
