She was a Past-president of the American Legion Auxiliary,Benson Banner Post 109, and a member of Holly Grove Advent Christian Church.Surviving are husband, John Wesley Wood, whom she married on August 9, 1942; daughter,Tresa W. Wheeler and husband, Nelson P.
