The Transporter Delivery Van.The generously sized load compartment of the Transporter Delivery Van has outstanding functionality andversatility. Depending on the wheelbase and roof height, it offers payloads ranging from 0.8 to 1.4 t and aload compartment volume of 5.8 to 9.3 m 3 . The almost vertical side panels enable this volume to be used tothe full. Many Transporter models with a long or short wheelbase, and a medium high or high roof, can becombined with a wide choice of door types. The Transporter Delivery Van range is as varied as your requirements: the normal and medium high roofversions have a tailgate as standard; the high roof version is fitted with rear wing doors. These wing doorscan be optionally ordered with an opening angle of 250° to give easy access to a load compartment volumeof up to 9.3 m 3 in the Delivery Van with long wheelbase and high roof. A second sliding door makes for easeof loading and unloading and is available as an optional extra for vehicles with a normal or medium high roof.Individual versions can be ordered with a variety of partitions. All of them, whether half-height or fullpartitions – with or without a window or sliding window – provide added safety. The Transporter BlueMotion.<strong>Volkswagen</strong> <strong>Commercial</strong> <strong>Vehicles</strong> with the BlueMotion label are the most economical models in their particularclass and have impressively low fuel consumption levels. BlueMotion is the intelligent interactionof the engine, engine management, transmissions, aerodynamics and tyres – a combination of efficientmotor engineering, technical highlights and aerodynamic measures. The Transporter BlueMotion – aDelivery Van with normal roof, 3,000 mm wheelbase and the economical 2.0 l TDI engine with 84 kW – has anaverage fuel consumption of just 6.3 l per 100 km. The Transporter Kombi.The Transporter Kombi has convincing features throughout and a particularly ingenious interior concept. Forexample, by using the optionally available modular seat-securing system, the 3-seater bench seat can bemounted in any of the seating rows as required – depending on how many employees have to be conveyed. Theremaining space can be used for stowage. Right from the short wheelbase version there is room for up to nine.The Kombi with long wheelbase also offers a maximum of nine seats – but with more freedom of movement forpassengers or with extra load capacity. Here again, the optional modular seat securing system enables you torearrange the rear layout in a matter of moments, so that it ideally fits for your next assignment. When getting inand out of the vehicle, passengers have comfortable access through the large sliding door on the front passengerside. To ensure the highest level of flexibility for the passenger compartment, you have a choice of two wheelbases,three roof heights and a large number of seating options for the Transporter Kombi. For example,the short wheelbase version can be ordered with two or three rows of seats. Depending on the selectedseating layout, a 2-seater bench seat with an armrest is available for the second row of seats or, alternatively,a 2-seater bench seat combined with a single seat and easy entry function. A double-folding 3-seaterbench seat can be fitted in the third row of seats, depending on the seating configuration. And theTransporter Kombi with long wheelbase is even available with a fourth row of seats. It is available as a robust carrier vehiclewith a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 2.8 t or 3.2 t and a payload of up to 1.6 t – whether it is a single cabversion with short or long wheelbase or a double cab with long wheelbase. The special body of yourchoice can be secured easily and safely to the chassis with the help of standardised mounting points. Toincrease the permissible rear axle load as well as the GVW to 3.5 t, the Transporter Tractor head basicvehicle can be assembled with particularly lightweight special chassis types by various manufacturers. Inthis case, the final vehicle approval and entry in the vehicle documents is carried out by the special bodymanufacturer at a later date. The Transporter Dropside Van.The Transporter Dropside Van is a real workhorse – but passengers by no means miss out on comfort. Thisapplies to both the single and the double cab. The double cab offers seating for a total of six and has fourdoors as standard allowing passengers to get in and out more easily. All in all, three different load platformswith aluminium dropsides and tailboard are available for the Transporter, depending on the wheelbase andcab version. The distinctive front end with inwardly placedturn signals indicates immediately that it is a <strong>Volkswagen</strong> – as such, it offers manyfunctional exterior equipment items that can be added to fully meet your individualrequirements.Roof colour (not illustrated).
