The Crafter CoolProfi. 

The Crafter CoolProfi offers even more space for fresh produce. It is equipped with a 

powerful roof-mounted cooling system. The largest version of the insulated refrigerated 

compartment has impressive dimensions: 1750 mm high x 4130 mm long x 1460 mm wide. 

A temperature control unit in the cab enables any temperature between 0 °C and a 

maximum of 20 °C to be set and monitored for the refrigerated compartment. 1) The insulation 

has a K value of 0.36 W/m 2 K and fulfils both the ATP and HACCP requirements 

as well as the DIN 1815 standard for refrigerated vehicles. If the vehicle is stationary for 

longer periods of time, the system can be connected to mains power using an optional 

external 230 V electric hook-up. The temperature can be conveniently adjusted using 

the control unit in the cab. In addition to the highly efficient common rail TDI engines, 

the Crafter CoolProfi scores points for comprehensive standard equipment: a 2-seater 

front passenger bench seat, airbags for the driver and front passenger, central locking 

with radio remote control, an “RCD 2001” radio system with CD player, a steel spare 

wheel and a second battery with separate relay are all included in the basic version.

in the cab for continuous documentation 

of the load compartment temperature.

The Crafter CoolProfi. It is equipped with a high roof as standard and offers a comfortable load compartment height – high enough for 

you to be able to stand upright. The sliding door to the load compartment comes with a latch to retain the door in an open position 

for more lifting space. The Crafter CoolProfi offers a choice of efficient 2.0 litre common rail TDI engines in four output categories:

requirements of all trades and stand out 

for their high-quality workmanship, their 

reliability and their attractive price. It is, 

of course, also possible to lease the required 

version of the Transporter ServiceProfi.

The Transporter ServiceProfi. 

Everything has an allocated space of its own in the ServiceProfi with normal or medium 

high roof. While a power drill, cable reel, spanners and gasket rings can be stored neatly 

on the aluminium shelves, the driver and the front passenger can make themselves comfortable 

in the generous cab. The latter is fitted with a 2-seater front passenger bench 

seat and an “RCD 210” radio system with CD player as standard. The steel spare wheel, 

which is also included in the standard specifications, is mounted in a space-saving way 

under the load compartment floor at the rear. Everything ensures that the interior is well 

organised and is designed with your safety in mind. The load compartment, with a broad 

sliding door on the driver’s side, has a sturdy, non-slip wooden floor with loading sill, 

protective trim, and six lashing eyes. It complies with the ECE R17 standard and is completely 

separated from the cab by a full partition, which in turn fulfils the requirements 

of the DIN ISO 27956 standard for panel vans. Furthermore, a safety package with an 

Electronic Stabilisation Programme, ABS/TCS, EDL, Hill Start Assist as well as airbags for 

the driver and front passenger protects you as you drive from one customer to the next.

The Transporter ServiceProfi. The Transporter ServiceProfi takes you swiftly to your destination and helps you to save fuel at the 

same time. The TDI engines, in particular, have high pulling power and excellent efficiency. In addition to three 2.0 l TDI engines 

with 62 kW 1) , 75 kW 1) or 103 kW 1) and a 2.0 l BiTDI engine with 132 kW 1) , you also have the choice of two TSI engines. A 7-speed dual 

clutch gearbox DSG and 4MOTION all-wheel drive are available for the more powerful TDI engine versions and the TSI engine.

The fuel consumption and emission figures listed here have been established in accordance with the measuring method stipulated. The figures listed here do not refer to a particular vehicle 

and do not constitute part of the offer but are purely for comparison purposes between the various types of vehicle. In addition to the fuel efficiency of a vehicle, driving behaviour and other 

non-technical factors (such as environmental conditions) play a role in determining a vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO 2 emissions. In addition to weather and traffic conditions, extra 

equipment and accessories (attachment parts, tyres, etc.) may change vehicle parameters such as the weight, rolling resistance of the tyres and the aerodynamics and thus influence the fuel 

consumption and driving performance values. 

For commercial use: in accordance with EU directive 3820/85, a tachograph is stipulated by law as of a gross train weight of 3.5 tonnes. A tachograph is not available ex factory for the Caddy 

nor can it be retrofitted. This means that if the vehicle is used commercially, a gross train weight of 3.5 tonnes (GVW of the towing vehicle plus GVW of trailer) must not be exceeded. In the 

case of the Transporter and Crafter, retrofitting of a tachograph is possible on all vehicles. 

The payload ranges listed here have been established bearing in mind equipment that can be selected or omitted, and other features which do not belong to the standard scope of delivery or 

standard specifications. A vehicle’s actual payload, which results from calculating the difference between the gross vehicle weight and the unladen weight, can only be determined by weighing 

the individual vehicle. 

16 – Fuel consumption and CO 2 emissions – The ProfiLine models 

1) Equipment can result in an increase/decrease in the unladen weight and consequently affect the payload. Please contact your local Volkswagen Dealer for the appropriate information. 

2) Standard gross vehicle weight. 3) Increase in GVW is possible as an optional extra. 4) Depending on the combination of engine, final drive ratio and tow bar. 5) Depending on the equipment 

fitted, the front axle load limit can be increased to 1,800 kg. This can affect the minimum payload. 6) Only possible in conjunction with tow bar with increased towing capacity (optional extra). 

Max trailer nose weight: 80 kg on the Caddy CoolProfi; 100 kg on both the Transporter CoolProfi and the Crafter CoolProfi; 120 kg and 140 kg respectively on the Crafter CoolProfi with increased 

towing capacity (optional extra).
