They actually live in a small town inIllinois named Swansea across <strong>the</strong> river from St. Louis. Herhusb<strong>and</strong> works for Wachovia Securities. She also statesthat her job continues to be stable as long as she gets <strong>the</strong>kids to school on time <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> laundry done.1985Lorna Potter Taylor graduated from <strong>McMurry</strong> twice—<strong>the</strong> first time in 1985 with a BBA in Accounting <strong>and</strong><strong>the</strong> second time ten years later in 1995 with a BSN inNursing. She is currently employed at Abilene RegionalMedical Center in <strong>the</strong> Surgical Services Department <strong>and</strong>is nationally certified in perianes<strong>the</strong>sia nursing. She wasalso named employee of <strong>the</strong> year in February 2008. Sheserves as Nursing Leadership Group Co-Chairperson <strong>and</strong>Clinical Ladder Committee Chairperson.1995Major Allen Gradnigo’95 is among more than1,000 Air Force lieutenantcolonels, majors, captains<strong>and</strong> civilians heading offin a few months to attendin-residence intermediate<strong>and</strong> senior educationcourses during <strong>the</strong> 2009-10 academic year. Specifically, Allen will hit <strong>the</strong> books at<strong>the</strong> Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California tostudy strategic political <strong>and</strong> military affairs, earning histhird masters degree in <strong>the</strong> process. 1996Cynthia MackoMay ’96 <strong>and</strong> herhusb<strong>and</strong>, LieutenantComm<strong>and</strong>er StephenMay, USN havebeen stationed atNAF Atsugi in Japan(near Tokyo) sinceDecember 2007,where Stephen iscontinuing his careeras a Naval Aviator flying <strong>the</strong> EA6-B Prowler. They will bein Japan for approximately 2 more years. Cynthia had totemporarily leave her career as a research scientist for <strong>the</strong>move, but is enjoying a busy life running after <strong>the</strong>ir twoboys, Logan (5 yrs) <strong>and</strong> Kevin (1 yr). Cynthia recentlyclimbed Mt. Fuji <strong>and</strong> has participated in several Japanesefestivals while wearing <strong>the</strong> traditional kimono. 1999Amber Justus Redman ‘99 is currently living in FortWorth, Texas with her husb<strong>and</strong>, Chris, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir identicaltwin boys, Takoda <strong>and</strong> Montana, <strong>who</strong> are 7 months old.Russell Vanl<strong>and</strong>ingham ’95 was recently appointed <strong>the</strong>Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Our Lady of <strong>the</strong> Lake<strong>University</strong> in San Antonio.
