SAR for NC WISE <strong>School</strong>sGeneral Information<strong>School</strong>s using eSIS to report the SAR data, (school personnel, classroom activities, <strong>and</strong>non-classroom activities), will need to set up school details, staff maintenance, staff roles<strong>and</strong> duties, <strong>and</strong> schedule students to classes in order to submit a SAR to DPI.In NC WISE schools, the SAR data is gathered from three areas, Staff Roles, StaffDuties, <strong>and</strong> <strong>School</strong> Schedules.UERSUERS was developed to pull information from eSIS for state reporting. Before anindividual data manager approves the SAR report, they should review the data using theSummary <strong>Report</strong>s.The Summary <strong>Report</strong>s are <strong>Personnel</strong> Summary <strong>Report</strong>, <strong>School</strong> <strong>Activity</strong> Summary <strong>Report</strong>(which includes the exception data), <strong>and</strong> Class Overage <strong>Report</strong>. UERS summary reportsare a powerful reporting tool to aid with the SAR by analyzing the data for possibleproblems or fatal errors. This will allow the data manager to clear problems <strong>and</strong> errorsresulting in a pristine SAR report.The <strong>Personnel</strong> Summary <strong>Report</strong>The <strong>Personnel</strong> Summary <strong>Report</strong> is a detailed report for each staff member showing thecourses <strong>and</strong> activities they are associated. This <strong>Report</strong> is selected through UERS noteSIS.22
