CONNECTING CABLESUse the power cord supplied with the printer.INSTALLATION LOCATIONSMAINTAIN GOOD VENTILATIONVentilation slots and holes are provided on the top, rear and sides of this unit. Place the unit on ahard and level surface and locate at least 15.8 inches (40 cm) (top) and 2 inches (5 cm) (sides),from walls to insure proper ventilation. When installing the unit in a system rack, leave spacebetween the unit and the back of the rack.UNSUITABLE LOCATIONSAvoid installing the printer in unstable locations with high vibration or in hot-springs areas wherehydrogen sulfide and acidic ions are likely to be generated.PLACES WITH HIGH HUMIDITY AND DUSTDo not place the unit in locations with high humidity and dust. They can causeextensive damage. Allow the temperature to stabilize before use.OPERATING AMBIENT TEMPERATURE RANGEThe operating temperature range is 59 - 86 o F (15 to 30 o C) and humidity of 30 - 85%.
