This is not to be deplored. On the contrary,as the Bureau often has pointed out, with an extension of field,both as regards membership and territory, the cooperative characterof an association is sacrificed. An increase in membershipis to some degree unavoidable, perhaps advisable, in a permanentassociation as it increases in age.As will be seen from the following classified table, threequartersof our associations are not over 10 years old.
