Here are some tipsto help you avoid common mistakes:• Use the three inch rule: never cold mounta bearing with inside diameter larger thanthree inches (75 mm).• When cold mounting smaller bearings,always apply 360 degree support on thering being mounted and apply evenpressure. For example, never mount abearing on the shaft by applying pressureto the outer ring.• Bearings with inside diameter larger than3 inches (75 mm) should be heatedbefore mounting.NEVER directly strike any bearing.
