2008 Los Angeles summer associates, Karen Law, left,with Bonnie Kwon.During my interviews, I was told that I would receive ‘real’and ‘challenging’ work. <strong>Baker</strong> <strong>Hostetler</strong> has not disappointedme and has definitely exceeded my expectations for thissummer. I have worked on a wide range of issues dealingwith administrative law, class action claims, environmentallaw, trademark infringement, real estate contracts, andemployment litigation.Even though <strong>Baker</strong> is a large Firm, I’ve been given theopportunity to draft actual motions, attend depositions,interact with clients, and observe trial preparations. Partnersand associates are constantly giving practical advice andfeedback concerning client correspondence, efficientresearching and how to balance legal work with communityoutreach projects.
