By end 2007 Sacombank’s chartered capital was VND4,449 billion, and represented an
increase of 113% up from last year and 23 times higher than 2001. This pushed the average
annual growth (over the past years) rate to 71%. Sacombank continues to be ranked high
in chartered capital amongst joint stock banks in Vietnam.

2. Distribution Network
Sacombank set up 13 new branches and 46 offi ces in 2007 thereby increasing number of
transaction points to 211 over 44 provinces and cities. The branch outreach has become
the hallmark of Sacombank.
