Thoughthis galactic guide is no longer with us on the materialplane, his presence will continue to guide us through theturning of the cycle and leaves us with one final message:“EVERYTHING IS PERFECT!!! Love everyone. Hate noone. God bless everyone.”José Argüelles, a Mexican-American author, artist, andeducator was the founder of Planet Art Network andthe Foundation for the Law of Time. He held a Ph.D.in Art History and Aesthetics from the University ofChicago and taught at numerous colleges, includingPrinceton University and the San Francisco Art Institute.Twin brother of poet Ivan Argüelles, he was one of theoriginators of the Earth Day concept and Argüellesfounded the first Whole Earth Festival in 1970 at Davis,California.As a painter and visual artist, Jose provided illustrationsfor numerous books as well as mural paintings at differentuniversities. After experimenting with LSD in the mid-60she produced a series of psychedelic art paintings thatHumphrey Osmond - who originally coined the work“psychedelic”- named “The Doors of Perception” (afterAldous Huxley’s 1954 book of the same name, itself atitle drawn from William Blake’s 18th-century poem).
