MINITOWER model 0002-RB400 MT. wgThis picture shows a water-cooled version of a coolingunit. Thanks to its relatively small dimensions itcan be easily positioned inside a laboratory cabinet orsimilarly confined space. Since the unit releases verylittle heat into the surrounding area, there is no needfor ventilation of the installation location. The unit’sperformance is sufficient to supply up to three workstationswith rotating vaporizers.The cooling unit is operated via an easily un<strong>der</strong>stoodtouch pad located at the front of the unit. All errormessages are shown on the display and indicatedby means of an acoustic alarm. A powerful magneticcoupled feed pump ensures good flow through theheat exchanger. A static maximum pressure up to 3.5bar is available. All versions of the cooling unit arelow-noise. The coolant tank is also located on thefront of the unit, also making it easy to top up afterthe unit has been installed. The filler cap is an easy toopen screw top. A yellow symbol indicates if the coolantlevel in the reservoir tank is too low. The waterside connections are located on top of the unit at therear.This unit is also available for flow temperatures abovezero.As far as the supplier side for the cooling unit is concerned,this can be provided by the building’s ownwater-cooling circuit or by the drinking water supplypipe. The unit consumes only as much water as itneeds to meet the cooling output. When the coolingunit is switched off, water consumption is equal tozero. The pumpwill not damaged by this and themaximum pressure will be limited.The required opening pressure willbe adjusted here in our production.But due to the good access anotheradjustments are also possible.
