Only a connection toa 230 V mains outlet is necessary,the water connection is supefluous.As a result of the lowest possiblecooling water temperature (to –5°C using antifreeze), and the controllablevacuum, almost loss-freesolvent distillation is possible, asthe cooling temperature and thevacuum, for every distillation programmecan be individually set.This in turn means a maximumefficiency in reclaiming the solventsas well as a minimum sewageburden and the fact that the waterconsumption drops to nil since thewater jet pump and the cooling ofthe tap water is no longer required.The vacuum area is a combinationbetween a PTFE diaphragm pumpand a electronic regulator, and whichcontains a ceramic sensor; the regulatorrange is between 1000 and0 mbar.The PARALAQUA ® is therefore thevery best in rotary evaporators.The vacuum can be infinitely varied.Once the required level is reached,the vacuum pump switches off.
