• Saint-Tropez
well known for a long
time for its artists, the former
city of Bailli de Suffren will
show you its charms.
To see: the port and its painters,
the Citadelle of the 16th century,
the bell tower, the museum
of the Annonciade,
shopping in the town.
• Port Grimaud
a lacustrine town which rose
out of the sands in 1966 at
the bottom of the Gulf of
Saint-Tropez, known as
“The little Venice”.
Remarkable architecture in a
Mediterranean style. Visit the
canals in electric powered boats.

• Grimaud
A charming little village. The ruines of
the 11th century Castle, the windmill, the
Museum of Arts and Local Traditions and
the Art Galeries.
• Gassin
A fortified village of the 13th century.
An exceptional view over the peninsula.
The church and its bell tower, the narrow
streets, the numerous vineyards. Guided

• La Garde-Freinet
A discreet little village, perched like a
citadel, away from the bustling of the coast,
it is appreciated by many artists. It is also the
departure point for several mountain walks
in the massif des Maures : le fort Freinet,
rupestral habitat of the 12th century, with a
splendid view over the Mediterranean slope.

• Collobrières
Known as the capital of the massif des
Maures, in the center of a huge forest area,
this charming village is dominated by
the Col du Babaou to the south, la
Chartreuse de la Verne to the east and
Notre-Dame des Anges to the north (an
exceptional view). Paradise for an escapade
on foot, on horse back or on bike. This
spot was used by Jean Aicard to set the
adventures of Maurin des Maures. A reputed
local delicacy : chestnuts of Collobrières.
• Ramatuelle
Built in a circular pattern on top of the hill,
the village is surrounded by a luxurious
vegetation. To see: Place de l’Ormeau, the
Sarrasine door, the Théatre de Verdure where
festivals are held during the summer, the
magnificent Pampelonne beach, the walks
on the coastal paths of the littoral…
