Sainte Maxime, faithful to its traditions shares
with you all year long its festivals and traditions.
• The first week-end of February
“Week-end mimosa”, street shows on
Saturday. On Sunday, “Corso du mimosa”
(procession of floral floats) with musical and
visual groups.
• The 1st of May
“Fête de la petite fille de mai”, a folklore
festival centered around the prettiest and most
well behaved little girl in a horse driven
carriage.
• The 14th and the 15th of May
“Fête de la Sainte – Patronne” of the town.
Procession in the town decorated in blue and
white. Folklore. Provençale mass.
•The 24th of June
“Fête de la Saint-Jean“, the longest day
of the year. Lamp light procession, big bonfire
on the beach. Fireworks.
• 8th and 9th September
““Fête des Vendanges“.
Wine fest, fireworks and ball.
• From mid-December to mid-January
“Marché de Noël“, with about thirty
traditional chalets handcraft, gastronomy,
sweets. Special shows for children and

du Marché. Fresh products : fruits,
vegetables, fish, meat, cheese, flowers
and local products. From 1st October
until 15th June, open every morning
(except Monday) from 8 am to 1 pm.
From 15th June until 30th September,
open everyday from 7.30 am to 1 pm
and from 4.30 pm to 8 pm except
Sunday afternoon.

Thursday morning.
• The Capet market
Avenue Georges-Pompidou,
Monday morning.
• Local craft market
In the pedestrian zone :
