All <strong>Grontmij</strong>’s business relations are based on<br />
high ethical st<strong>and</strong>ards, <strong>and</strong> we adhere to all<br />
relevant ethical guidelines in the consulting<br />
industry <strong>and</strong> the societies in which we operate.<br />
This is the backdrop for our decision to set up<br />
a business integrity management system that<br />
meets the intentions <strong>of</strong> FIDIC’s ”Guidelines for<br />
<strong>Business</strong> <strong>Integrity</strong> <strong>Management</strong> in the Consulting<br />
Industry”. The system is integrated into<br />
<strong>Grontmij</strong>’s project management system.<br />
<strong>Grontmij</strong>'s <strong>Business</strong> Ethics Goals <strong>and</strong> Guidelines<br />
All our employees are responsible for their behaviour in accordance with <strong>Grontmij</strong>'s <strong>Code</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong>. In case <strong>of</strong> doubt, the individual emplyoee is under an obligation to raise the<br />
issue with management for clarification. All (suspicions <strong>of</strong>) violations <strong>of</strong> <strong>Code</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong><br />
are h<strong>and</strong>led according to predefined procedures. If <strong>Code</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong> is violated appro-<br />
priate sanctions are implemented.<br />

This policy expresses <strong>Grontmij</strong>’s business<br />
ethics goals which we strive to meet in our<br />
role as a consultant. The policy is consistent<br />
with FIDIC’s “Guidelines for <strong>Business</strong> <strong>Integrity</strong><br />
<strong>Management</strong> in the Consulting Industry”.<br />

A set <strong>of</strong> internal instructions which is based<br />
on our <strong>Code</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong> <strong>and</strong> defines how<br />
we expect our employees to act in specific<br />
situations<br />
<strong>Grontmij</strong> informs our customers if<br />
circumstances are believed to affect our<br />
objective <strong>and</strong> fully impartial consulting<br />
services<br />
<strong>Grontmij</strong> works for objective <strong>and</strong> constructive<br />
cooperation with other companies<br />
within the consulting industry <strong>and</strong> does<br />
not engage in any agreements that hinder<br />

The <strong>Code</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong> specified below expresses <strong>Grontmij</strong>’s business ethics goals which we strive to meet in our role as a consultant. If<br />
found relevant, the <strong>Code</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong> has been detailed in internal guidelines, which translate the <strong>Code</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong> at the operational<br />
level into specific rules that all employees must adhere to in their day-to-day business. The <strong>Code</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong> is consistent with FIDIC’s<br />
“Guidelines for <strong>Business</strong> <strong>Integrity</strong> <strong>Management</strong> in the Consulting Industry”.<br />

pertaining to data, assessments,<br />
observations, etc. that constitute the basis<br />
for our consulting services or invoicing <strong>of</strong> our<br />
services. The consultancy will be based on<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essionalism, objectivity <strong>and</strong> impartiality<br />
<strong>Grontmij</strong> does not participate in any cartel<br />
arrangements or secret pricing agreements<br />
<strong>Grontmij</strong> does not condone corruption in<br />
connection with the performance <strong>of</strong> the<br />
assignments. <strong>Grontmij</strong> requires the same<br />
st<strong>and</strong>ard <strong>of</strong> conduct to which we adhere<br />
from our sub-consultants, business partners<br />
<strong>and</strong> customers.
