This new device, (DJ-DLM) provides real time data from the OBDII port on all 1996and newer vehicles. This data is available to be viewed live in the dynamometersoftware, WinPEP 7, and is also recorded into the dyno run. Imagine being able toreview OBDII data, such as spark advance, throttle position, engine coolanttemperatures, inlet air temperature, calculated load, and numerous otherparameters right along side your dyno results.Dynojet Research is known for its ultra consistent and repeatable line ofchassis dynos, and now with the DJ-DLM, consistency will be brought to anew level. No need to guess if the torque converter is locked, or if the ECMis retarding timing. The OBDII data from the DJ-DLM is monitored,recorded, and able to be reviewed with a few mouse clicks.Dynojet Research is pleased to announce a device that will make acquiring atachometer signal a breeze, the “EZ RPM Module”. Dynojet dynos already use anunparalleled RPM acquisition technology, but this technology will allow a quick, nonintrusivemeans to acquire a tachometer signal. Some modern vehicles make it verydifficult for dynamometer operators to get a tachometer signal because physicalbarriers in the engine bay, or poor accessibility to the coils. Simply plug in theDynojet EZ RPM Module into the cigarette lighter, or attach the leads to thebattery, and select the number of cylinders for the vehicle. This innovativefeature is a great value and further solidifies Dynojet as the leader inchassis dynamometer technology.Enhancing the capabilities of the Analog module, the new Dynojet ThermocoupleAmp Module is able to convert any Type K Thermocouple into a 0-5v based analogsignal. The kit comes with the module, as well as a plug-n-play harness that connectsto the Analog Module. There are two different kits available, one that has a range of0-500 degree F and then a 0-2000 degree F version. Set up is quick and easy, andas always, this device is fully supported in our innovative dynamometer controlsoftware, WinPEP 7.
