Lanxess plans to increase its R&D budget
by 10% every year. The aim of each research
process is the development of a marketable
product with a healthy margin. A new department
will have the function of identifying patents
and research results that don’t fit into the
company’s product portfolio but can be sold to
other businesses.
A strong turnout of closing questions from the
floor gave proof that the speaker had managed
to encourage the audience in critically questioning
the accepted facts. Whether his wish for
more courage in breaking new grounds will be
answered remains to be seen in future successful
innovations.

As every spring and autumn, the Trade Fair before the Chamber Meeting gave exhibitors
the opportunity to promote their services and match business opportunities. Among the 18
represented companies this time were Talent Spheres, Deutsche Leasing, HRO Consulting,
arvato Services and ECOVIS Ruide.
