The centrepieceof the vehicle and the hub for controls and Infotainment is the eightinch colour Touch-screen in the centre of the facia*. This provides thelatest in technology with exceptionally clear graphics. The availabilityof a dual view* functionality with the Touch-screen allows the driverand front seat passenger to watch separate images simultaneouslyon the same screen.Also available is a highly intuitive, powerful voice control system thatincludes the latest ‘Say What You See’* technology, which providesthe user with convenient visual prompts on the Touch-screen.The steering wheel houses controls for convenience features that arestandard on Range Rover Evoque. These include cruise control andprimary audio controls to maximise ease-of-use of the Infotainmentsystems and Driver Information Display.The Driver Information Display’s five inch full colour screen supplementsthe eight inch Touch-screen. It is conveniently located, directly underthe driver’s forward line of sight between the two instrument dials,and presents primary vehicle information such as temperature andfuel levels, Terrain Response® settings as well as turn-by-turnnavigation information.The Hard Disk Drive (HDD) premium navigation system* allows featuresto be accessed more quickly – for instance, route finder and routerecalculation times are significantly reduced – helping minimise delaysin determining directions for the driver. The system includes an ‘eco’feature, which is designed to show the most fuel-efficient route toyour destination.22
The Infotainment system can also play MPEG4 Video Files †† stored on a USBdevice plugged into a USB port located in the vehicle. Analogue/digital televisionchannels can be watched on the front seat passenger display Δ .Range Rover Evoque’s rear seat entertainment system* has the ability to playhigh quality DVD Video as well as the television channels and route it throughthe eight inch screens located in the back of the front headrests as well asto the front seat passenger’s display on the Touch-screen*. Every rear seatentertainment system comes with a Touch-screen remote control, which allowsintuitive and user friendly operation.
