Course I (BSC1085) introduces anatomy and physiology of thehuman body. This course includes cell structure and function and basic concepts ofA&P. The focus of this course (A&P I) is on the basic concepts, the cellular level, theintegument, as well as muscle physiology, neurophysiology and functional organizationof the brain.Remark: This course together with BSC 1086 provides the foundation for an understanding of thehuman body. Then study every chapter topic in the textbook in the proper manner.Focus only on topic areas covered in the lecture or slide show. Refer to“Get Ready for A&P- How to read a textbook” if you are not clear what “tostudy” means.3. For muscle physiology and neurophysiology also use InteractivePhysiology and work on all interactive exercises that are offered formuscle physiology and neurophysiology. (Access via work area tab inMastering A&P)4. Read extra materials in the respective folder and watch suggested extravideos.5. For credit complete:a. All assigned tests on time (in MyHCC)b. All chapter practice assignments (in Mastering A&P)c. The IP practice assignments (in Mastering A&P)d. The “Get-Ready for A&P” post tests (in Mastering A&P)e.
