Be sure to include a briefproduct description and drawing showingthe location of installed fittings, wherenecessary. For example: one each 11100-0005 cylindrical tank and one each 93857-0050 nipple installed through side.Drawings are required when fittings areto be factory installed.• Covers: Covers are included with tanks,and are sold as part of a complete package—TANK/COVERCOMBINATION.• Freight: All shipments are F.O.B.Reading, Pennsylvania; Garrett, Indiana;or other distribution points.• Applications: Saint-Gobain PerformancePlastics records application details forall bulk tank orders. The frequency of inspection will behighly dependent upon actual use conditions,as well as the age of the tank. Specific guidelinesmust be determined by the user dependentupon actual use conditions. Saint-Gobaincannot provide specific guidelines due to thewide variety of applications and their effectson plastic tanks. Please consult this catalog orcontact Saint-Gobain for more information.Limited Warranty1. Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics herebywarrants that its products are free fromdefects in material and workmanship and thatthe products, provided they are installed inaccordance with printed instructions and usedwith chemicals listed as satisfactory in thechemical resistance chart at the temperaturesnoted in the Catalog, will perform satisfactorilyunder normal use and service in the hands ofthe original user.2. The above warranty by Saint-GobainPerformance Plastics shall expire one (1) yearfrom the date the product is shipped to thebuyer from the factory for all products exceptthose listed below for which the duration ofSaint-Gobain Performance Plastics’ warrantyshall be two (2) years from the date the productis shipped to the buyer from the factory:• All vertical storage tanks-550through 6,500 gallons• All conical-bottom tanks-1,575through 4,200 gallonsNOTE: If these tanks are used to store thefollowing: acetic acid, amyl alcohol, benzenesulfonic acid, ethylene glycol, formaldehyde, glycol,nitric acid, pickling baths with sulfuric andnitric, plating solutions, sulfuric acid, sodiumhypochlorite, calcium hypochlorite, chromic acid(1% to 50% concentration), or chromic acid/sulfuricacid-50%, the warranty is only one year.3.All products that are customized or structurallymodified at the factory by customerrequest have a one (1) year warranty periodfrom the date the product is shipped to thebuyer from the factory, except those productsfor which a longer warranty period is specificallyprovided in writing by Saint-Gobain attime of shipment. This warranty is void if thecustomer or someone other than Saint-GobainPerformance Plastics modifies Saint-GobainPerformance Plastics products.4.Hardware, fittings and steel accessories havea one (1) year warranty period from the datethe product is shipped to the buyer from thefactory. The warranty does not extend to productsinstalled by the customer.5.THE WARRANTY STATED HEREIN IS THE SOLEWARRANTY APPLICABLE TO SAINT-GOBAINPERFORMANCE PLASTICS PRODUCTS.SAINT-GOBAIN EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANYAND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSEDOR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OFMERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR APARTICULAR USE.6.In the event of a breach by Saint-GobainPerformance Plastics of its warranty,Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics will, at itsoption, either repair or replace the product(FOB factory) or refund its purchase price.Tanks over 500 gallons must be inspected onsite by an authorized Saint-GobainPerformance Plastics representative beforeSaint-Gobain can be required to honor anywarranty claim. Saint-Gobain PerformancePlastics shall provide written instructions onthe handling of any other warranty claim.7.SAINT-GOBAIN PERFORMANCE PLASTICSLIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO ITS PRODUCTSIS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE REMEDIES SETFORTH ABOVE. THE REMEDIES ARE THEBUYER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES.
