Purvis managed to reachthe Betty with the rest of the group, only to be confronted by Dr. Mason Wren, the former lead scientistof the Auriga project. It was then when the embryo reached the Chestburster stage and eruptedfrom Purvis. However, he acted quickly and took Wren with him by pulling his head to hischest, causing the Xenomorph to rip through both Purvis and Wren.
