LMH RANGEDESCRIPTION & CHARACTERISTICSLMH RANGEwww.wealdelectronics.comThis range of miniature bayonet connectors is manufactured and approved to BS9522 F0017 (Approval No. 1116/M),BS/CECC 75201-003 (Approval No. M/0213/CECC/UK), and performs to requirements of MIL-C-26482 Series 1 (SolderTerminations). The range comprises 9 shell sizes and various styles. Configuration of contacts varies from 2 to 61, spread across thenine shell sizes.LMH BASIC CONSTRUCTIONConnector shells are manufactured from aluminium alloy. The standard shell has a high resistance to corrosion with an olive drabchromate conversion over cadmium plate finish.Inserts are of polychloroprene, compounded to a WEALD specification. Operating temperature range is -55ºC to +125ºC.The connectors have gold plated, non-removable, solder or pcb type contacts.EMC SCREENINGTo satisfy electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic pulse (EMP) requirements, free shells can be fitted with groundingfingers. Fixed & free shells can be fitted with accessories for screened cable termination.POLARISATIONTo avoid mis-mating with similar connectors which may be adjacently mounted, LMH connectors may be polarised thus:a) Angular Disposition of the Inserts within the Shellproviding up to four different orientations other than Normal (N). These are designated W, X, Y, Z.See Table on page 10 for variations available in each planform, or;b) The Position of Shell Keys and Keywaysproviding up to four different polarisations other than normal (N).
