Spring is upon us, flowers are in bloom, and we are
ready to not need five layers of clothing to go outside.
This is the time of year when we become more active
both in our lifestyles and within the community. The
Community Concierge is here to help you to become
more engaged, whether that means within your religion,
your community, or simply becoming more active.
Services offered by the Community Concierge include:
• Welcome meetings for new singles, couples, and
families to help them get oriented to life in Boulder,
both in the Jewish and broader community
• Warm Welcome Visits: hospitality visits for families
who have recently given birth to a new child
• coffee Dates: just in case you want to chat about
finding a book club, sports league, happy hour, or
virtually anything else in the Boulder area
• Happy Hours and other programs for young
professionals in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. As long as
you are young at heart, you are welcome!

Purim Party
Persian Shore Purim Party: Join us on Purim, March 8,
at 8 pm at Bacaro where we will have a Persian Shore
party. There will be prizes for the best costumes, GTL
stations, dancing, Pur-improv, and the first drink is on

After March, our series of 3 rd Thursday Happy Hours
will continue!
April 19: Get over the Bitter Herbs at Bitter Bar
May 17: 3rd Thursday Happy Hour - TBD
Spice up your life: Learn about Israeli Spices
On May 8, the Boulder JCC will be having a private
event at FORK in Louisville. We will learn the history,
enjoy a tasting, learn how to cook, and take home a
Mediterranean spice. Then we’ll walk over to Empire
and have a round courtesy of the JCC.

It’s almost May, let’s hike
Join us on Sunday, May 20, at 11 am for a hike up
Mount Sanitas. We’ll meet at the parking area on
Mapleton Ave, go for nice leisurely hike, and then make
our way to Pearl Street to wash it all down with a beer.
The JCC can be seen at community outreach

Passover in the Aisles: We will be at King Soopers
in the weeks approaching Passover to help families
prepare for the holidays:
King Soopers Table Mesa: March 25
King Soopers 30th and Arapahoe: April 1
Farmers Market: You can see us at the Farmers
Market on Wednesday afternoons in May.
May 9 and May 23
Dine Out with the J: Join us on April 17 at
California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) on the 29th St. Mall.

of “FlatironTribe,” an
organization dedicated to
bringing together young
Jewish adults in Boulder and
the surrounding cities.
We are kicking off the inception of Flatiron
Tribe with our Purim Party on March 8, at Bacaro, but
you can look forward to many more events. If you have
