Sheriff Kevin Studnicka presented the Morris Miller Health Hero Award to LawrenceKotek for his evasive actions during a June 4, 2012 motor vehicle accident involving a schoolbus.(7) Provide a Supportive Organizational Culture:Vice Chair Wagner recognized Shop Supervisor Dale Vinkemeier in honor of his upcomingretirement from his employment with Scott County.Chair Wolf recessed the meeting at 9:25 a.m. for a reception honoring Mr. Vinkemeier andreconvened the meeting at 9:42 a.m.(8) Develop Strong Public Partnerships Continued:B. University of Minnesota Extension Regional Director Kim Boyce provided an overviewand highlights of the 2012 Scott County Extension program accomplishments. Mr. Boyce’sreport focused on the areas of:Family Resource Management;4-H Youth Development;Agriculture and Alternative Agriculture;Master Gardeners and Horticulture; andCommunity Nutrition.

The ribbon cutting for St. Francis Health Services in Jordan is Sunday, April 7, at11:30 a.m. A community grand opening follows from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.
