Commissioner Ulrich moved, seconded by Commissioner Marschall to adoptResolution No. 2013-042; Authorizing Renewing the Agreement With Videotronix Incorporated(VTI) for Service Coverage on the Andover Card Access System and the Closed CircuitTelevision (CCTV) Video System. Commissioner Ulrich moved, seconded by Commissioner Marschall to approve allclaims listed on the record of disbursements for the period February 1, 2013 through February28, 2013 in the sum of $8,301,185.89. The motion carried unanimously.

Separation of employment for Melanie Kubischta, FT Facilities Assistant, CommunityServices Division, effective 03/29/13.3. Separation of employment for Justin Barnett, FT Probationary Sheriff’s Deputy, Sheriff’sOffice, effective 03/01/13.4. Sheriff Kevin Studnicka presented the Morris Miller Health Hero Award to LawrenceKotek for his evasive actions during a June 4, 2012 motor vehicle accident involving a schoolbus.(7) Provide a Supportive Organizational Culture:Vice Chair Wagner recognized Shop Supervisor Dale Vinkemeier in honor of his upcomingretirement from his employment with Scott County.Chair Wolf recessed the meeting at 9:25 a.m. for a reception honoring Mr. Vinkemeier andreconvened the meeting at 9:42 a.m.(8) Develop Strong Public Partnerships Continued:B. University of Minnesota Extension Regional Director Kim Boyce provided an overviewand highlights of the 2012 Scott County Extension program accomplishments. Mr. Boyce’sreport focused on the areas of:Family Resource Management;4-H Youth Development;Agriculture and Alternative Agriculture;Master Gardeners and Horticulture; andCommunity Nutrition.

Commissioner Wolf attended the New Market Town Board meeting on March 5.P. Commissioner Wolf met with Scott County Public Works staff on March 7 and 8 todiscuss various issues.Q. Commissioner Wolf attended the Metropolitan Emergency Services Board meeting onMarch 13.S. Commissioner Wolf attended the I35W Solutions Alliance meeting on March 14.T. Commissioner Wolf attended the Elko New Market City Council meeting on March 14.U. Commissioner Wolf attended the County Road 8 Corridor Study Open House at SpringLake Town Hall on March 18.(10) County Administrator Update:A. The County Board will be meeting with the Carver County Board of Commissioners in aworkshop setting at 2:30 p.m. today at the Carver County Board Room to discuss the feasibilitystudy of a potential jail merger.B. The ribbon cutting for St. Francis Health Services in Jordan is Sunday, April 7, at11:30 a.m. A community grand opening follows from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.
