In additionto taking on the Ferndales, he nowworks at Hereford Sixth Form College,Bishop’s School, Hereford and QueenElizabeth Humanities College,Bromyard. He has also been appointedorganist and choirmaster atSt Paul’s Church, Tupsley. Jon hassung with several prestigious choirs,including Armonico Consort and theNational Youth Choir and has deputisedregularly in Hereford CathedralChoir.Looking ahead, the Ferndale Singerswould welcome new members in thealto, tenor and bass sections. In Junethey presented a summer concert,featuring a performance of Vivaldi’sGloria, which was considered a triumph.The programme also includeda medley from Les Miserables. A concertof Christmas music is plannedfor December, and the choir continuesto work towards expanding itsrepertoire.There is no audition to join thegroup; just come along and enjoy takingpart!
