PREFACETurkey is a mountainous country which includes 4 different climate sturucture and due tothese special features, an enhanced Bayesian Algorithm is employed in the processingschedula of the project. This algorithm is developed based on Cloud-Radiation Database(CDR) from 14 rainy cases by Dr. Alberto MUGNAI and his team (Dr. <strong>Daniele</strong> CASELLA,Dr. <strong>Marco</strong> FORMENTON and Dr. Paolo SANÒ) from the Institute of AtmosphericSciences and Climate (ISAC) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) work inEUMETSAT - Application Facility on Support to Operational Hydrology and WaterManagement (H<strong>SAF</strong>). Besides, Dr. İbrahim SÖNMEZ and Dr. Zekai ŞEN assisted in radarand raingauge data collection, assessment and validation.
