Virbhadra Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister ofHimachal Pradesh recently inaugurated theVideo Conferencing facility that has been setupby NIC in all the district headquarters of thestate. The inauguration function was attendedby a number of Cabinet Ministers and officialsof the State Government including the ChiefSecretary. Thiru. Dayanidhi Maran, Hon’bleUnion Minister for Communications and IT, alsoparticipated in the function through VC andassured the Chief Minister to provide allpossible help for development of ICT in thestate.The project implemented at a cost of over Rs. 3crores includes the installation of VC studios in10 districts and four tribal sub-divisions ofBharmour, Pangi, Pooh and Kaza.
