Log-in info for the website is below.The website also includes links to everything you might need during your visit to San Jose including our team mediaguide, schedule, team/player stats, directions, parking, taxi information and dining options for the San Jose area.www.sjsharks.<strong>com</strong>/mediaLOG-IN INFO:e-mail: media@sjsharks.<strong>com</strong>Passcode: sharks1991ACCESS: The San Jose Sharks organization and <strong>Media</strong> Relations Department strive to make its players, coaches,management and other personnel available in a timely and responsible fashion to all accredited members of the media.NON-GAME DAY PRACTICE LOCATIONS: On non-game days, the Sharks almost exclusively practice at Sharks Ice atSan Jose, located at 1500 S. 10th Street (at the intersection of Alma). The Sharks skate on the facility’s South Rink. TheSouth Rink has a media workroom accessible via the staircase at the top of the bleachers.Visiting teams may skate at Sharks Ice at San Jose or at HP Pavilion, depending on the availability of HP Pavilion.Visiting team typically practice on the North or East rink when skating at Sharks Ice.Unless notified otherwise, ALL morning skates take place at HP Pavilion.GENERALINTERNET ACCESS:HP PAVILION AT SAN JOSE: Our press box and press room have <strong>com</strong>plimentary AT&T wireless and hardwiredEthernet high-speed Internet ports (for hardwire access, use Ethernet chords in press box, orange-colored ports in thepress room). For wireless access, simply choose the attwifi network, agree to the terms and you should be on-line. Thereis no password needed for this network. If you have any problems gaining access to the Internet, please let us know.SHARKS ICE AT SAN JOSE: Use the iceguest wireless network and the passcode of “stanleys.” In the Sharks mediawork room at Sharks Ice, there are also hard-wired Ethernet cables for Internet access.MEDIA ENTRANCE: The media entrance to HP Pavilion is through the 24-hour Security Entrance, located at the rear ofHP Pavilion, next to but not in the gated loading ramp.CREDENTIALS: Credentials will be delivered to the visiting team’s media relations representative upon their arrival atHP Pavilion or can be picked up directly by visiting the San Jose locker room following the Sharks morning skate. Inthe event your team is playing back-to-back games, we will leave your passes at the media entrance (24-hour SecurityEntrance).PARKING: Anyone requesting parking privileges should contact Scott Emmert at semmert@sharkssports.net. <strong>Media</strong>parking is in Lots A, B & C which are behind HP Pavilion. Once confirmed that you have been added to the HP Pavilionmedia parking list, just give your name to the gate attendant at either the Santa Clara Street or Julian Avenue entrances.GAME NOTES/STATISTICS/NEWS CLIPPINGS: The Sharks <strong>Media</strong> Relations department will provide hard copy, up-todateGame Notes, <strong>NHL</strong> statistics and press clippings at the morning skate. However, in an effort to reduce the amountof paper waste, we will only be printing a very limited number of hard copies at game time. All of these reports can befound electronically in PDF format on the Sharks <strong>Media</strong> Resources web page. In the event you absolutely need a hardcopy during the game, please let one of us know and we will get them delivered to you.MORNING SKATE MEDIA ACCESS: The Sharks, on most mornings, will go on the ice between 10:15 and 10:30 a.m.and typically skate no longer than 15-20 minutes. If there are specific players you need to speak with, we ask that youarrive at the Sharks dressing room no later than 10:15 a.m. so that we can ensure they are available in the event theteam has an optional skate.The Sharks dressing room will open after the first player leaves the ice from the morning skate.
