About for new communities in which to<br />
locate, there are those who have not<br />
elven up hope that the proposal would<br />
never go through. Today's situation<br />

The town of Hill, whose potnilation<br />
was formerly around GOO, was 468 in<br />
IMO, and is now lower. The village<br />
formerly had a thriving glass cutter<br />
manufactory. The building now is<br />
being used for shingle manufacturing.<br />
There was also a successful needle<br />
factory., which has been abandoned.<br />

wood working factory are left.<br />
These last factories are on high<br />
ground, not within the area to be<br />
flooded, On the hills In the western<br />
part of the town there are many fine<br />

hut the territory marked for flooding<br />
by the dam takes so much of the de-<br />

eharitable Institution for boys; the<br />

Brae Cabins, several summer cottages<br />
and farms, which would all be wiped<br />
out.
