The Evaluation Kit STart168 is shipped
with the STMicroelectro-nics ST10F168
microcontroller which provides a 256
KByte on-chip Flash memory, a
6 KByte on-chip Extension-RAM
(XRAM), a CAN controller and
many additional I/O features. The
board supports up to 1 MByte
external Flash memory and 256
KByte Fast-SRAM which allow
to build a lot of sophisticated
applications. A set of user
selectable switches offers a very
flexible handling of the CPU
specific start-up configuration.
The STart168 package comes with
the FLASH166 software for easy
programming of Flash memory and well
prepared demo software.

The C167 Starter Kit includes the
microcontroller module C167CR_2,
the development base board EVA167
and the FLASH166 software for easy
programming of the Flash memory. The
module C167CR_2 offers a huge amount
of peripherals, high performance due to the
16-Bit CPU core with RISC-like architecture,
short interrupt response time and 1 cycle
task switch. Together with the on-chip CAN
controller this module is the best choice for
real time applications. There are 512 KByte
Flash memory on-board.
