The current learning disability three year strategic plan is going to be renewed and wewill use this as the first wave of involvement.GivensThe strategy needs to conform to the corporate 5 year strategy. We will use the same template in order forit to flow down from the corporate one. This does not however mean we cannot add areas if we feel theyare missing. As a result of this if you haven’t already you need to read the corporate plan before we start thisprocess.ProcessTo do this we will organise regional groups of staff at all levels and a separate people and family carers group.Regional Managers will facilitate the groups and feedback to Ivan and myself. I will then organise a meeting ofvolunteers from each region to go through their thoughts and piece together the strategy. We need to have thefinal draft written by the end of December 2012.
