CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECTThe State/Tribal agency will report to an appropriate agency or official known orsuspected instances of physical or mental injury, sexual abuse or exploitation, ornegligent treatment or maltreatment of a child receiving aid under Titles IV-B orIV-E under circumstances that indicate that the child's health or welfare is threatened.Sec. 5 E471(a)(25) & (26)F. TIMELY INTERSTATE/TRIBAL PLACEMENT OF CHILDREN1. The State/Tribal shall have in effect procedures for the orderly and timely interstateplacement of children which provides that:a. Within 60 days after the State/Tribal receives from another State/Tribal arequest to conduct a study of a home environment for purposes of assessing thesafety and suitability of placing a child in the home, the State/Tribal shall,directly or by contract:i. Conduct and complete the study; andii. return to the other State/Tribal a report on the results of the study whichshall address the extent to which placement in the home would meet theneeds of the child; andb.
